4. Session Recording and How We Limit It
Microsoft Clarity can record a reconstruction of your visit, including pages viewed, mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling. We use this to find usability problems.
Because our Site includes a tool that analyzes merchant processing statements, we have deliberately restricted what session recording can capture:
- Your statement analysis results are masked. The section of the page displaying your processing volume, effective rate, fee breakdown, current processor, hidden fee list, and written summary is marked so that its text is replaced with masking characters in your browser, before any data is transmitted. Those values never reach Microsoft's servers.
- Uploaded documents are never captured. Session recording captures the page, not the contents of any file you upload. Your statement is transmitted only to our own processing pipeline as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Form input is masked under our masking configuration.
Session recording is not a video of your screen and does not capture other browser tabs, other applications, or anything outside our Site.
5. How to Control Cookies
5.1 Our cookie banner
The simplest way to control analytics cookies on this Site is the cookie banner shown on your first visit:
- Accept all allows strictly necessary cookies and analytics cookies.
- Reject non-essential allows only strictly necessary cookies. Microsoft Clarity is not loaded at all.
You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page. If you withdraw consent after previously granting it, we stop analytics collection and clear the Clarity cookies we can access; the tag is not loaded again on subsequent visits.

5.3 Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where applicable law requires us to honor it.
5.4 Opting out of Microsoft Clarity
You can prevent Clarity from collecting data by blocking third-party cookies, by blocking the domains clarity.ms and c.bing.com using your browser settings or a tracker-blocking extension, or by adjusting your Microsoft privacy settings at privacy.microsoft.com.
5.5 Do Not Track
Our Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because no common industry standard for interpreting them has been adopted.
6. Cookies Set by Third-Party Pages
If you follow a link from our Site to a third-party service, including a scheduling page or an online merchant application, that service sets its own cookies and is governed by its own cookie and privacy policies. We do not control those cookies. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party site you visit.
